Soft Skills & Etiquettes : There may be lot of argument as to whether it is possible to enhance soft skills in a training, especially when one considers the fact that a person has lived with those traits all his life. Answer is tough but real – a person who wants to do well in his/her life and career does not really have a choice. The youth needs right attitude, appropriate Soft Skill set and quality education for meaningful, happy life and employment. Employers require the employees who can think effectively and creatively. We essentially focus on nurturing youth to acquire the right attitude first, professional qualification and soft skills.

Soft skills are the personal attributes/qualities that enable a person to interact effectively and harmoniously with others [people and animals]. Hard/technical skills will get an interview but soft skill will get and keep the job.

A study conducted by Harvard noted that 80% of achievements in career are determined by soft skills and only 20% by hard skills. Experts feel that soft skills training should begin for a person when they are students, to perform efficiently in their academic environment as well as in their future work place. A study conducted by McDonalds in UK predicted over half a million people will be held back from job sectors due to lack of soft skills. Studies by Stanford research institute and Carnegie Melon foundation among fortune 500 CEOs established that 75% of long term jobs success resulted from soft skills. Participants are trained in Etiquettes, time management and Self-Management Skills, People skills and Professional Skills.
