Recruitment of Nurses - GGS

India has a huge pool of Nurses available but the candidates need appropriate training and correct guidance. We act as a trainer and facilitator focused to bring quality nurses to the UK.

GGS Foundation, as an NGO is dedicated (since 2017) to education of youth – both formal and informal education, having training institute in Bangalore, India – www.theggsfoundation.org. We will provide training to fresh graduates from different colleges in India to fill the gaps in formal training, send them for clinical practice to Hospitals and enhance professional standards to meet the requirements for registration with NMC – the nursing and midwifery regulator in the UK. It includes training in English language, soft Skills, etiquette, table manners etc to name a few. Thereafter, employment is facilitated taking care of requirements detailed below.

GGS Global Ltd in London will provide every possible assistance to Nurses selected and arriving in the UK.

2. Arranging temporary accommodation.
3. Orienting Nurses to the local community.
4. Arranging OSCE training (if required)

Requirements to become a Nurse in the United Kingdom
1) Demonstration of English Language Proficiency : IELTS with minimum score of 7 in speaking, listening, reading and writing or OET with minimum grade of B in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
2) Completion of NMC Eligibility and Qualification Application.
3) Taking the Computer Based Test (CBT) : CBT assures the NMC that applicant has the right knowledge and skills to practice nursing in the UK.
4) Attending Interview & Secure Job offer : Attending online interview arranged to secure job offer. Completion of pre-employment checks.
5) Securing Certificate of Sponsorship from Employer : Employers assign the CoS once the CBT exam is cleared. Sponsorship reference number on CoS is used for the Tier 2 visa application
6) Submiting Tier 2 Health & Care Worker Visa Application : Submission of Tier 2 visa application and providing biometric application. Visa is generally approved within 3 weeks.
7) Traveling to the UK
8) Taking Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) : OSCE will assess applicants clinical knowledge. Results emailed within 5 working days from test date.
9) Completion of NMC Registration & Securing Pin : Submit health, character and language evidence. NMC will assess application and provide Registration Number (Pin). Candidate becomes a Registered Nurse in the UK.
